Dr. Claudia Barberis

Dr. Claudia Barberis is a Biochemist specialized in Microbiology in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been working at the Hospital de Clínicas, José de San Martin, University of Buenos Aires (UBA) since 1994 with vast experience in teaching, clinical work and research. In 1999 she got her specialist degree in Clinical Bacteriology. Also, she got her Ph D in Microbiology: “Identification and clinical impact of gram positive non-spore opportunistic rods”. Since 1998, she has been working as an official researcher at the UBA. Not only she has many papers in indexed journals (Pubmed) but also in National and International Congresses. She is a full member of the Argentina Society of Microbiology and belongs to the Anaerobic Subcomitee. She has expertise as reviewer for The Journal of Medical Microbiology, Anaerobe, Revisa Argentina de Microbiología, New Microbiologica and Journal of Medical Case Reports.
