Main clinical and activities:
- Main interest: Special interest for strategies in asthma and allergy prevention in adults, education and control. Studies about chronic airway diseases (asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis) in adults, from prevalence rate to management and control. Cystic fibrosis.
- Additional interests: Self-management treatment in asthma and COPD. Pulmonary function tests in adults. Managing the correct diagnosis and adequate treatment at the beginning of the asthma. Further investigations about risk factors for dyspnea and early treatment and management of atopic diseases in adults with high risk for developing asthma.
- Diagnosis and treatment of hypersensitivity pneumonitis and interstitial lung diseases.
- Tuberculosis in immune-compromised patients
- Clinical studies: from 2006 participated in several multicentre international studies, as Principal Investigator and Co-investigator
